Empowering Communities,

Cultivating Prosperity

At Apa Tea, our commitment to quality extends beyond the cup.
We are dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of our farmers, laborers, and communities living and working on the Apa spice farm in Kamuli district, Eastern Uganda. Through sustainable sourcing practices and innovative solutions, we are not just brewing tea.

WE ARE BREWING CHANGE

Supporting Small Holder Farmers

Through the Apa spice farm, we are working to liberate rural farmers in Kamuli district from low-paying cash crops like sugarcane that have been the primary source of income. By cultivating spices for us, they now enjoy fair compensation, improving their income and quality of life.
With our dedicated market unit absorbing their produce year-round, farmers no longer struggle to find markets.

Together, we’re fostering a sustainable agricultural ecosystem, empowering farmers and securing a brighter future for generations.

Elevating Livelihoods

In a region where subsistence earnings are the norm, we’re striving to increase productivity, dignity and stability. By providing employment to farmers and laborers earning between $1 and $3 a day, Our own spice farm alone employs 8 farmers, each earning a fair wage and supporting an average of five dependents. That’s 40 lives touched directly by our commitment to social responsibility.

Expanding Economic Horizons

As we grow, so do our aspirations for impact. With our entry into the mass market, we’re projecting a 40% increase in demand for unprocessed tea and spices every month. This growth doesn’t just mean more sales – it means more jobs, more stability, and more prosperity for everyone in our value chain. From casual laborers to full-time staff, each member of our team plays a vital role in our shared success story.
