For close to a decade, we perfected the taste and the packaging. APA Holdings was formed in 2007 and full blown production of our flagship product Kisubi tea began in early 2011 with the 50g, 100g and 250g packaging of loose tea as well as the 100g teabag packaging.

On realizing how popular our lemongrass (Kisubi) had become, in 2012, we went back and conducted more research into the extraction of more flavors beginning with green tea, herbal mint, hibiscus, tea masala and later vanilla and eucalyptus.

We had learned one thing by now, ‘our recipe is great but we need to cater for the longer term consumption of our flavored teas. In mid-2013, the technology to pack our teas in two layered 100 gram tins was introduced.

With a successful history in extensive research, in 2019, our tea family got its latest addition, detox tea Our detox tea took a while because we had to work tirelessly to fuse a series of health benefits with a soothing taste.  

Our flavors are blended with the best quality black tea and our raw materials are sourced from female out growers who 50% of the proceeds go back to.

Today we have a rich mix of economy pack loose teas, teabags and premium blend tinned tea to suit the preferences of our treasured customers.

We are dedicated to becoming the regional breakfast brand as we are steadily working to expand and perfect our product range and shift from artisan production to mass production and supply.
